Budget for Thor and Thor 2
Right - trying to find out just how big our big-budget movie is and here's the figures guestimated at the moment:
Thor: $150 million
Thor2: $200 million
Looking at the takings for Thor I'm slightly surprised that they've released a sequel. It did well (taking $181 million in the US and $449 million world wide.
Thor 2 is one of Warner's tentpole movies this year. It has to do well for the studio which has had a few flops recently (Green Lantern only just earned its $200 million budget back worldwide) and Man of Steel has been no great shakes.
So I wait with baited breath!
